I've been the only guy not in a relationship while my friends are, so I understand what you mean. I always hated when they made me feel like I was missing out. But sometimes being alone is better. Saves money if nothing else. ;)

I hear you on Lebowski too...the more times I watch it the more I like it (same goes for all Coens' films it seems). I didn't think much of it the 1st time.

Funny about Bond, Netflix added almost every Bond film to instant watch this week & I put them all in my queue so I can re-watch them. Crazy timing!

South Korean film & violence sounds really interesting...a few films of course come to mind. ;)

On work: you know how some business websites (like Amazon) have product reviews from customers? Well, most of them use another business to read the reviews & decide if they're OK to put on the site. I am one of the people who reads the reviews to see if they're OK or not. Does that make sense?

As for my daughter having good genes, I have to agree. :) Now if I can just pass along my good taste!

Sideways is not a film I would've enjoyed when I was younger, but as I get older I appreciate certain types of movies more than I used to. I dig the characters & the dialogue, and am even able to relate to it moreso now. I managed to catch Duel on the big screen in October here, & was very blown away by it. Add to what you said the fact that it was a made-for-TV movie & it's even better. Most made-for-TV movies are crap. And Peeping Tom is indeed great...you really need to see it.

Bond as a Masters subject, nice!

Glad to hear you had a good weekend, & I'm sure you needed it. My weekend was mostly mellow, put out the Xmas decorations, watched some movies (including The Muppets, which was pretty good), and then worked each night. I'm working online from home actually, moderating website reviews for content to see whether they can go straight to each site's page or if they need to go to customer service or whatever. It's a lot of reading, which I don't mind though I do get annoyed reading women go on & on about shoes when I come across those sites. Heh.

My daughter is 15 months old, and I would definitely not have wanted to have my own family before I did. To be honest, I could've waited another year or 2 before doing the kid thing (my soon-to-be wife & I had only been together 9 months when she got pregnant), but she clearly wanted to be here now & so I have no regrets. I spend my weekdays taking care of her while her mom works, then I work nights Thursdays through Sundays. Since I spend all that time with her she's crazy smart...recognizes letters of the alphabet, knows how to say lots of words & understands many that she can't say yet. And she's walking so she's into everything. A lot of work at times, but it's worth it. :)

Only real downside to having a kiddo is it cuts into the time you'd like to be doing other things, at least at first. I make it to less concerts, movies, and other things than I used to. So I definitely recommend waiting!
